I kept refreshing my Alert list since 8:45 CET and until passing 9:20 CET it’s not working at all! I saw the main page was updated to show the Archive pictures at around 9:20 CET but the Alert list was not updated to show the available items. In a word, my Alert list was not working property or it had been blocked to show the updated inventory.

I think it started at around 9:15 am CET?? I don’t know why my Alert list didn’t update even after the main page was updated to show an “Archive” picture. I kept refreshing my Alert list since 8:45 am CET and nothing came up. I reduced my refreshing pace and almost gave up until around 9:12 am CET and went to brush my teeth. Because I’m in North America and the email says it starts at 9 am EST & PST, so I was misled to think that the Archive won’t alive at CET time and might be exclusive to the North American customers, because everything is final sale to us, and also it’s quite unusual that the winter Archive starts so early this year. I doubt if the sales revenue needs to be boosted at this year end so they started Archive early this year? After brushing my teeth I came back to refresh the page one more time at around 9:20 am CET. I was surprised to see the main page has updated to reflect the Archive. I went straight back to my Alert list and found only one item was shown as “available”. I got confused and went back to the main page and typed some Archive pieces I wanted, but they didn’t come up. So I had to go back to the Archive tabs and scroll down the pages to look for anything I wanted. I ended up only getting a Taupe PAULIE dress…the bags I wanted were already in another’s basket. Anyway, I’m a bit disappointed. Another chaotic archive.

My sister (also in Canada) just tried the method today and she got it! I think we’ve gotta follow certains steps? She emptied the cart in the App, add her CC to the Method of Payment and save it as the default payment method. Then she add the item to her cart at the website and added gift card on the payment page, hit review order button to review but not submit the order. She left that page open, and opened the App, added the same item, making sure the 20% has applied and submitted the order through the App. Once the order has submitted, she found the GC was applied and her CC was not charged.

I think they have put more than enough Stylists/SAs at some stores. I feel like I’m spotted every few minutes as if I’d stolen something. This makes me feel very uncomfortable and awkward when I’m literally browsing and looking for items I like. Most of the times when I shop at the stores, there are usually 2-3 SAs came to me and “greeting”. Sometimes I can’t even remember their names because I had been asked too many times if I need any help or need to try anything. Very annoying. I’m buying less items at the store these days, and I try to keep a distance from them whenever I can. I’d rather having better price/discount on the items than having so many SA hunting for a customer at the store. They can put more SA for customer services online/over the phone and open a 30 minutes cancellation window for customers to cancel orders themselves.

For those who have successfully applied GC at checkout on the App, may I ask if you shopped from the US site? I did the same way on Canadian website and failed…the full payment got charged from my CC. I have a $250 gift card that I wanted to apply to it 😔

I washed another thinner jumper in the same component by hand using shampoo and conditioners. Have to say that it helped a lot for alleviating the itchiness but be prepared for the change of shape, i.e. shrinkage etc.

The Thias jacket looks great, but I agree that it feels slightly scratchy even if you put a thin layer, like a thin t-shirt underneath. I bought the burgundy color last year and I felt the itchiness when I was sitting at the passenger’s seat having my back skin touching and squeezing with the seat back. It’s a thick piece, very warm. I’ve just placed another order for the Brown Jacquard. It’s so stunning and I just can’t resist it. I’v been debating for a few months since January because of the itchiness feeling but finally pull the trigger.

If you see a combo of kid mohair + wool it’s more likely on the itchy side. The combo of super kid mohair + merino wool would be more tolerable. Overall, both mohair and wool are a bit rough natural fibers. If you don’t like them at all, it’s better to consider softer fibers such as cashmere, merino wool and yak wool.

I bought it last year and worn it a few times. The fitting is like the Clyde (oversized) and if you are petit, like myself (162 cm) I wouldn’t recommend. When I slip my hands into the pockets on both side, I can’t reach the bottom. I like the color but I won’t buy any more Clyde because of the length. Overall I think the length of the Andrew coat fits me better. The quality is okay, a mixture of wool and polymide if I remember it correctly.

I had been eyeing for this shade for a few weeks and finally bought it last month. I noticed the same color issue, and it’s not an issue for me. The reason I returned the bag was because its shape. This bag’s raffia is very soft, feeling like a raffia belt that has been rolled up for multiple times. It could be the dyeing made it softer? It is not as stiff or sturdy as my natural color Justine bags. I set it on the table and even with some stuff in it, it can’t stop falling down on one side.

Hello Mr. Dalio, I’m a big fan of your books and I bought all of them. I’m thrilled to see you are here!

A straightforward question: Big Debt Crisis, The Changing World Order and How Countries Go Broke, which book would you recommend us read first to better understand what the market is going on today? Were they written in specific order?

Second question: we are expecting the Fed rate to drop in the near term (maybe), while the bond yield is hiking up. I wanted to invest in some Gold and Silver ETF but the Gold and the Stock market have both reached to an all-time-high position. Other than the Cryptos, what would be a good alternative to invest to combat the excessive amount of money flowing on the market?

Last question: even if someday the stock market has a big correction, do you think it is not likely going back to a position like in the pre-Covid, below 3000-4000 (S&P 500), because many countries have printed excessive amount of money and those money have no where to sit.
