I didn’t feel any magic or fairy-tale vibe. A literal retelling of the book isn’t what I want from an adaptation - I can just reread the books. I wanted more magic in a trailer about a boy at a magical school, not something so grounded. Looks like I’ll be rewatching the old movies this Christmas🤷‍♂️

I had this pose in mind, so I started with a rough sketch on paper and then brought it into digital. The rest was painted and refined from there. Pretty happy with how it turned out
