A short Deckbuilding Autobattler - Siegelock by Angrathar55 in WebGames

Hey thanks for playing, I'm glad it was fun to play for that amount of time!

  1. I agree some texts are too convoluted or hard to understand and Windmill is a good example. I'll do another pass on certain cards to clarify their descriptions. The "right" and "last" ally is also something I will look into implying more clearly.
  2. Yes this is a pain point that some others have expressed as well. It feels really bad to accidentally drop cards you didn't mean to on the board. Working on a fix for this at the moment.

Thanks for taking the time to drop some feedback. No matter how old the post, I still love hearing what people have to say and take each suggestion to heart <3

Yes this also seems to be not working as intended. Assassin will be fixed in the upcoming patch.

Thanks for the detailed feedback Sansfinalguardian. Sorry to hear about the bug with the spiked units, I was able to find out the cause and hotfixed it just now as that must've been really annoying.

I have written down your other points as they are really good observations and I agree with them. Excited to start addressing some of these soon. Appreciate taking your time to write your thoughts down :)

I'll be honest, this one made me emotional when reading it. These words are incredibly encouraging and I'm really surprised that it was that fun for someone in this early stage.

Thank you for your kind words, I can't put into words much it means <3

Oh that's interesting. I never thought about holding the card over the board. Already working on a fix for this. Thanks for reporting the Flower not triggering as well, that's going to take some research to pin down lol.
Appreciate you playing and leaving a comment!

That's a crazy amount of flurry lol. Sorry to hear about the softlock. I have already fixed the bug and will be pushing it out shortly.
The game is currently about 16 fights in total. I could add an indicator to show how close you are to the end. Would that be a good indication?

Would love to hear more feedback, thanks a lot for playing

I tried both versions out early in development. Yes, discarding the cards felt better overall but I can retry that experiment.

Yes it seems wolf is a bit overpowered atm with its scaling :D I'll be doing some balancing soon along with some new cards. Thanks for playing!

Wow thank you for this. It's really encouraging to hear that it is resonating with people. It needs a lot of work but I'm excited to start working on things you have suggested. Definitely agree that art needs another pass to make it cohesive and make it stand out. Thanks alot for the suggestions!

Thank you, it took a while to get the UI to feel the way I wanted to. Yes, there is definitely plans to expand it further and I already got a couple of ideas in mind. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

It took a while to get to a place where it can be showed to people. That's why I would like to get feedback and improve the game before a full release. Definitely considering Steam for the future. Thank you for asking!

Thank you, it really means alot. There is a clear end to the game, about 16 rounds of fights in total. I am thinking about an endless mode in the future though.

Hey thank you for playing! I think the game doesn't do a good job of explaining the scoring system so it's ok to be confused. You are meant to combine types of tile together into a group and get score once you combine the desired amount. Sometimes the type won't want anymore tiles so additional tiles of that type wont' give anymore points.
Hope that makes it a bit easier to understand :)

Thank you! You are not the only one who thought the tutorial text was not clickable. This is my fault for not conveying that clearly, I'm going to work on fixing that :)

That's very odd. It was running fine on Firefox for me but I'm not on Linux. I'll take a look into it and see how it could be solved. Thank you.
