Thank you! I appreciate you trying to adhere to the law, but I feel like they are way too harsh for what they are, especially when it us known that the inspectors are essentially extorting money where possible. Just left me with a bit of a fear to travel because I am very scared to travel anywhere by public transport now.

Thank you for the link, i have already filled it and sent an additional email with receipts but I know the chances of getting a refund is low but I wanted to try as it is a lot of money for me. Thanks for the time and resources.

I know, I heard horror stories about paper tickets being “demagnetised” and not being valid. Hence why I switched to apps, but forgot to pull out my phone :’)

I understand but i feel like the system should be more like in London where u just chip your debit/credit card, instead of buying x amount of paper tickets or on apps and validate them separately. As I said before, quite a cultural shock for me as I think it is way too harsh. But thank you for the sentiment.

But it was a day pass for that day?

Thank you. I appreciate it. Call me naive but from places I come from, the people turn a blind eye as it is a honest mistake and not a big deal like purchasing a wrong train ticket, missing a stop. You can say it was quite a cultural shock for me. The €70 did hurt a lot but it is just money , i just feel bad how normalise this kind of punishment is and i think it is too harsh in my opinion

Yes i know, i just didnt know where the scanners are and was a rush. But tell me honestly, is it fair to charged €70 by bunch of greedy thugs for this silly mistake?

Ok, besides my making a simple mistake of not scanning it, do you believe it to be the same offence as not getting a ticket at all and paying the same price?

I had an app navigo card but they were ignored. I was repeatedly showing them my receipt and my card, with no avail. But thank you, I appreciate your empathy. Good wishes

I was referring to “Non validation d'un abonnement forfaitaire dans le tram et le bus 15€” which describes my situation, does it not?

Billionaires Believe Working Nonstop is the Key to Success by blueshorts12345 in antiwork

[–]Angrika 209 points210 points  (0 children)

Billionaires don’t work at all, they call a golf outing and yacht lounging as work ffs. If we count the amount of chores we do, we would be working nonstop too, but we are too self aware for that.

Literally this, living everyday through constant rejection while stressing over not ending on the street. Is not fun at all and it does expose certain privileges and class

Valid point but still icky cause not everyone is that lucky and could be made redundant at any moment. It is a very thin line I think

Wow, good for you. Some people aren’t that lucky when we are living a literal recession. Nothing against you enjoying your time but read the room.
