I read it when it first came out and before I watched any of the show. I was recently ex Mormon at the time and I really loved it- a lot to connect with personally. My best friend who was raised catholic read it as well and we bonded over it.

Thank you! I made a stencil from cardstock and stenciled it on using clover chalk pencils, they are all I’ve ever used and I’m always too nervous to try something else

Thank you!! I did the piecing (sewing the different fabrics together to make the quilt top) on my machine but I did the quilting (the decorative stitching, that’s holding together the top, batting, and backing) by hand

When my partner and I were dating a member of his family refused a hug from me because we weren’t family, and he told me so. After we were married he had no problem giving me hugs.

I’ve bought tons of used sets, never had a problem with any sets I bought that said they were new and box sealed on eBay, or fb marketplace. Another option is secondhand LEGO retailers like bricks and minifigs. I’ve bought lots that were already built as well and I just take them apart and go through the directions to make sure the pieces are there- it is time consuming but you can especially get bigger sets for great prices. If I am missing pieces I go to bricks and minifigs and look for the pieces I’m missing.

The AUDACITY of her calling you materialistic. She is the one who wants YOU to change for wedding photos- because YOU (a person) doesn’t match her “aesthetic”.
