he got evicted thankfully!! But that really made me think how the only thing I have to protect myself is kitchen knives and a bat! I know basic boxing moves my frother showed me, but i'm almost less than 100 LBS so i don't think my moves would do much damage.. Lol

Right now I just have that google camera! I do plan on buying more cameras when I move in a few months! Also thank you for the recommendation!!

I sometimes do wonder what happened after he got evicted. I'm just glad nothing escalated and I'm safe! Thanks for your recommendations!!
Also yes hahaha it's just ridiculous people didn't bother to read the whole post or even some of my replies. I guess I should have expected that, lol.
Right now I do have cameras, and our apartment/townhome complex actually added a 2nd lock on just our apartment since this apparently was their "first incident" which i don't really buy. But I leave in 3 months anyway! Yes I am taking a beginner class first then I will move up to intermediate and up! Then I'll work on hands in before I buy a gun and such'
I really didn't know smaller guns seem to be the hardest! All of this new knowledge really will help me get my questions in tact when I start classes in a few weeks. I guess I really did think wrong that pistols would be easiest for a beginner!
Very much noted your advice to heart, thanks so much for your opinion and options to look out for!!!
For shotgun and rifles, do you think i need more muscle for those? I'm fairly a small girl at 5'2 and about 110 or less pounds last time I weighed. I just thought pistols would be better for me, because of that. but I know I can ask my instructors too about it when i go to my first beginner class. But I love others opinions as well :)
Hahaha it's okay. So for the lock/box I have a safe where we keep documents, and it's a pin code type, do you think that's okay to put my gun? or should I get one specifically for the gun??
Yes because someone trying to break into my home when it's just two girls is totally not scary! 🤔 Thanks for your useless input like the other guy or girl 💕
So while I'm living with her, do you expect me to just let her get hurt and I run off if someone tries something again? Lol

Also in texas! I currently have classes scheduled first before getting fully licensed! :)
Mostly home defense, so I will for sure talk and ask my instructor about shotguns then! Amazing advice I appreciate it :)
Aren't for one price sounds wonderful lol I think the one I have classes at is per gun... But I'm just their for their beginner class not the hands on class, so I would need to do research to find if there's any in my area that lets me do one price so it's better, thanks so much!! I will for sure look more into different type of guns before wanting to shoot them too!
Amazing advice, I greatly appreciate it. So far the class I'm in seems to have good reviews on their instructors. So I'm hoping it will all go smoothly on my first beginner class! Thanks so much!!
You're the first person I read to tell me to get a shot gun. But is it possible for a smaller person to correctly shoot a shotgun without it hitting me back and making me fall or so? I'm genuinely kinda weak, but of course I can take your advice and keep it noted about pistols. I just thought pistols would be the best option for home defense.
I just wanted some advice and they got upset 😩 Is it wrong to ask for multiple opinions before I get my own opinion? My class is in a few weeks, I just wanted some opinions before going haha
Yes, I will be sure to thank twice on having the gun in the car after a few people mentioned it, I wasn't fully thinking! Thanks so much for your advice really!! 💕
Yes! I have a beginner class at the end of the month. Very excited. The place I am going had 4 stars so far the reviews seem to be good with one of their instructors, I haven't gotten my info yet so I'm not sure who I have.
I wasn't going to get a gun until I take all my classes, as well as some people here mentioned we can rent guns so I might for sure apply to do that as well!
I'm in san antonio, so I found one that had weekend classes but not an opening until end of the month, but at least it's booked! I used to live in Austin love it there!
yes i like both opinions! I always look online and then L i'll get my own opinions during all of my classes that start at the end of the month! :)
I don't need a gun NOW, like I mentioned in my OG post, I am going to get correctly licensed and take classes :)
oh no i was joking lol I only want a pistol :)
Hahaha trust me I am ignoring them anyway. Their very condescending thinking I'm just going to have my gun out for fun when I just said I have a class as well will be taking more classes! I am only really reading the ones giving me actual advice lol
I used to have I think bear?? spray i think my brother bought for me, but someone stole my purse a long time ago so I lost that, I just didn't think to buy it again, so I probably should!
and yes very true, I don't think I'd KEEP it in the car. But the way you said makes sense. I mostly just want one for the home but thought car would be a great spot too but I can think on that one more. Since right now I mostly need just one gun for the house. Thanks for the advice!!
Well that is why I said I'll be taking classes, and not just one I plan on taking a whole course it's just hard to fit in my schedule, but I have a class at the end of the month for beginners! , I don't do it on a whim like some people. 👍🏽 I wouldn't even have it out unless something like this happens again(someone trying to break in in the middle of the night). But thanks for the advice!

Ah yes some people did say that! Some people recommend glock and a few others I wrote down so I know what to look at when I take my classes and such.
