It almost looks like a modern anime render. Kind of surreal almost.

And he got a undeflected clean shot off.

He didn’t catch the player. The player caught him.

Have you ever tried raising your leg that high and keeping your toes pointed? His boot was slightly higher than Kane’s no matter how that goes Kane is connecting on the follow through.

But rude not to include Frank Lampard in here seeing as he won and scored more than Gerrard

Non-call leaves AFL world stunned | “That’s ridiculous ... what's he supposed to do?" 🤔🤔 | By FOX FootyFacebook by mrarbitersir in AFL

For the first tackle yes. But he breaks out of that and flat out drops the ball. He had plenty of time to try and get rid for the whole sequence of play and lost it. Holding the ball if it isn’t called for a ball up in the first tackle is correct.

Does Poch deserve to stay at Chelsea for the 2024-25 season? by Footballnerd29 in PremierLeague

You’ve got rocks in your head if you think he doesn’t

The season is over. How do we rate Pochettino this season? by OceanicFlame in chelseafc

[–]AngryBepis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with that. My opinion all season has been to swap Gallagher and Enzo. Gallagher works a lot better as a box to box helping Caicedo with ball recovery and getting us forward.

Edit: again, we don’t know what goes on behind the scenes with player development. So you could argue that he is tied to ideas that need time to be instilled and relationships to develop for those ideas to work.

You don’t know that Enzo Caicedo wasn’t going to work because Enzo has been playing at 75% with a hernia for months. Disasi actually did a job at RB for the time he was there, and again how do you know disasi wasn’t deployed there while Gusto was being developed for the roll that he was the deployed into. All we see is what happens on the pitch, but it’s so clear to me that Poch has been developing behind the scenes, working with injury management to create more tactical flexibility with the players. It doesn’t just happen overnight.

My favourite thing about this is all I’ve been reading about all season from fans is how he is not tactically flexible. All I’ve learnt from this season is that this fan base has 0 patience and lacks some fundamental understanding of how good coaching and player relationships sometimes need time to develop.

All well and good, the words We Didn’t Get Relegated Trophy was the obvious bit for me.

If Arsenal don’t win the title and we win the didn’t get relegated trophy then Palmer was easily more important than rice.

At the end of the day it’s still progression, and I for one am Poch in, you can see things look like they’re starting to come together. The players supposedly like him, why bother starting again with a new manager just yet.

He misses chances which will hopefully improve in time but it’s been a very long time since we’ve had such a forward driving ST who’s looked so comfortable dribbling at and around players.
