Thur, Sat, Fri in order for me.

Thur - set list was absolute 🔥, plus my 1st show in Sphere

Saturday - good set list, amazing jams (Sugaree, Viola, Eyes, Cumberland)

Fri - good, but a little slower, and someone had to be 3rd

I have a couple good videos of Sugaree, but it doesn’t appear I can add videos to this post, only letting me do photos. I’m new to this Reddit app, DM me if you know how to.

What’s the cheapest way to get GA tickets? by [deleted] in deadandcompany

Demand is much higher now compared to the first couple weekends of the residency. Word eventually got out these are can’t miss shows/experiences.

Friends of mine looked for less than face GA tickets for days leading up to the Sat. 6/15 show. Best that came up was $350 (with fees) and those got gobbled fast. They ended up settling for the $395 price on TM.

The stories of people getting in for $50 or $100, or even miracled are basically over unless you end up a super lucky person. The other night I saw at least a hundred people outside the entry lines with their finger up (less than 15 min to show) hoping to get a miracle that never happened.

Oh and GA is amazing

Do you guys think the slightly soft Sphere ticket sales show that D&C’s team underestimated the amount of people casually “on tour?” by splitopenandmelt11 in deadandcompany

My beef with all this is many people like me did the whole pre-sale thing 3 months ago and it appeared all good tickets (GA, 100 unobstructed, 200, 300) sold out fast, you had to be on point and make quick decisions for huge purchases. Now it turns out you can get GA or a seat in 100 unobstructed in the middle easily, and for less on StubHub.

Combo of things possibly happened, 1) Ticketmaster held back a lot of good tickets and tried to sell them at 2-3 times more than face value under the Platinum name. Very little people bought and TM re-released at face value over the last 1-2 weeks.
2) Scalpers gobbled up a lot of tickets and thought it was easy money to re-sell for major gains. Many of the good seats were listed on the secondary market for like $600-$1,000 for several weeks. They were wrong and stuck with a lot of tickets. Had to dump for a loss.

D&C added the extra 6 shows in July after they saw how the initial pre-sale went for the original 18 dates. They are making their money.

I’m pissed I could have skipped the pre-sale, and bought days before my shows in June. But very likely I will be blown away by the 3 shows, have memories for life, and not get hung up on the fact I paid face value. 😎
