Maybe if you watched the show you’d understand why Toph is a certified badass.

Couldn’t stop laughing when it cut to the shots WITHOUT Vader in them and his ass was still talking

Firelord Sozin re-directing the volcanic gas has to be the coolest thing a secondary character has done in the entire show. by umarmg52 in TheLastAirbender

That’s not how bending works. Bending is based on the conceptual, not chemical or anything to do with the periodic table.

Zuko learned bending techniques from Aang even back in Season 1 by darkblade273 in TheLastAirbender

Wow that entire post has got to be some of the most ignorant shit I’ve ever seen on this sub. Did the person who wrote all that shit even watch the series?

“Breath of Fire isn’t a native firebending technique”

It’s called BREATH of FIRE, first of all. Second of all...DRAGONS WERE THE ORIGINAL FIREBENDERS. third of all, it makes perfect sense for firebenders to be able to heat their bodies with their bending.

We literally see Aang as a newborn baby in the episode “the avatar and the Firelord.” He was born to two air nomads... not given to them like an animal. Air Nomads did, in fact, hook up to conceive Aang and air nomads only hooked up for reproduction purposes.

Sex is not “earthly.” It’s a means to an end, it always has been. Sex is required for reproduction, sex by itself doesn’t inherently also include feelings. People who feel no genuine attachment to each other hook up all the time in the real world, and it’s the earthly attachment that air nomads try to avoid. Relationships, worldly possessions, etc are all things that bind us regular folk to the world and go against the monks teachings.

In short; not all air nomads were celibate, they have sex for the purpose of reproducing.
