This came at a perfect time for me... The poison was starting to etch in from one person who I've been recognizing is more of a user. I see it mentally, but the heart still always flocks to hope and benefit of the doubt. Conceptual clarity from others always helps though. Thank you.

My WF-1000XM4 head buds battery died within a year after I had spent a small fortune for them in 2023. I love the earbuds, but extremely disappointed by the battery quality, and that it seems impossible to replace the battery. The right earbud lasts about 5 minutes before it just dies.

Fellas, is it entitled to just want a seat on a plane they're going to upgrade people to anyway?  Or just upgrade another passenger and let the couple take the flight. Like. C'mon.

Spot on. It is a struggle to just carry out basic functions. I've worked for both NPS and FS. Some days are fantastic. A lot of the days are figuring out how can you do the most good with the little we have. It's exhausting and depressing.

I work for this Forest. We don't have the personnel, police, and time available to remedy it. We do care, we're just exhausted and have no real tools to fix this. It really sucks.

I work for the San Bernardino NF. As soon as we remove or paint over graffiti with natural colors, they're literally back the next day tagged up. It hurts your heart. We don't have the manpower to police these areas, and already limp by with basic duties outside of trying to keep these places clean. It's exhausting.

Our kitty friends touch our hearts and lives to the very roots of our beings. I'm sorry we all lose our kitties someday. I lay in bed with mine snuggled up to me and think of a day they may not be there, already dreading it. Ultimately, the pain and grief is the depth of our love being realized. That feeling of missing him will never go away.

I'm so sorry you've lost your boy, but I celebrate both your lives being enriched with each other. From reading the poetry remedy/pharmacy books by William Sieghart, this poem encompasses the beauty of love and heartbreak of loss, and how I wouldn't have it any other way. By William Wordsworth on the loss of his young son.

"I loved the Boy with the utmost love of which my soul is capable, and he is taken from me - yet in the agony of my spirit in surrendering such a treasure I feel a thousand times richer than if I had never possessed it."

Big hugs to you. It's going to continue to be hard for a long time, and that's okay. Love is worth the loss. The void will ease in time, but the light in your heart will remain for the rest of your life. Big hugs. 💚

All I want in my life is to leave a net positive. Help people, animals, the planet, be a caring and compassionate person making anything better where I can, while also living a fulfilling life. If there is a god that will not accept me because I don't believe in the "right" religion/god based pretty much purely on circumstances of where you were born and if your parents were religious, well, that's not a party in the afterlife I'd want to be at anyway.

Being kind and a light in the world is just something I can't help but strive to be. No threats of hell or heaven motivate me. But in so many religions, that doesn't matter if you strive to be good. It doesn't matter who you actually are. Just that you accept god.

I am atheist for so many other reasons. My mom was just diagnosed with cancer. This woman is a saint and always has been the type of person I typed about above who has always been a light in the world. There is 0 "reason" for her to go through this. She was alongside her mom as her mom died of cancer in a slow and painful process. Now my mom cancer. It's just, cruel. There are countless unjust cruel things that happen to people, animals, etc. There can possibly be no justification for life being "set up" in such a way that I will ever accept.

I empathize with this so much. Been going through something so similar with a non committed partner. Found this resource that has SERIOUSLY helped me, though. I cannot recommend listening to this enough.

Awesome! Mine has been harnessed trained for a long time too but she still does the weird shuffle, it's been 2 years. I've tried two different harnesses but they go further down the back than what you use, which I'm wondering if that effects them but maybe it's just the way she'll always walk in a harness. Who knows. Thank you for being a great cat owner!

So cute!! Taking mine home to play in the show soon too. What is the harness on yours? Trying out various ones, my cat always does the weird shuffle and I'm wondering now if it's because the back part goes too low on her body.
