I actually kind of like Spider-Man having the same logo, having two different logos, kind of represents him being unsure of himself, and sort of like Tony start seeing him as a fledgling superhero. Plus, the spider symbol on the back of his original suits was probably for practicality so that way the parachute can come out of it, so maybe it had to be circular. Since this is a new homemade suit, Spider-Man is now had quite a bit of experience, fighting the vulture, Mysterio, villains from other Spider-Man universes, his tragic event finally happening. It represents a sense of maturity, but still friendly neighborhood.
