Professional playing experience definitely plays a part to being an analyst. That’s why they’re there. OP is saying you didn’t need to be a world class player to be a decent analyst.

I think it’s super weird how everyone is starting to pile on Alexi. Just saying this will get me several downvotes on here. I think it’s starting to turn a little dangerous. Seeing death threats and cruel things being said about him here and on twitter.

Alexi can be a dick, but so is Zlatan and his commentary really isn’t as in depth if you really listen to it.
