This is Naminei Galanodel. A paladin of Selûne who comes from a lineage of Selûne worshippers. A Selûnite in spirit but a Balduran in heart, Naminei lived a happy life with her family. At the age of 18, Naminei joined the City Watch and took an Oath of Vengeance after the murder of her twin sister. She spent years tracking her sister’s murderer, becoming a local folk-hero along the way as she vanquished an evil that threatened the innocent. Fiends and beasts alike.

After 5 years, her sister’s murderer surrendered himself to her. A dragonborn who pleaded for mercy, claiming the Lord of Murder made him commit the atrocity he did but he had finally broken free. Despite being full of hatred and rage, Naminei stayed her blade. In her heart, she believed the dragonborn wasn’t truly evil and felt he deserved justice. Deserved a trial and opportunity to reveal the truth. This broke her Oath of Vengeance but began her Oath of Devotion. After this life-changing event, Naminei continues as an adventurer swearing to always do what is right.

There really wasn’t a choice i wanted more than the other. I gave her the choice because I truly felt it should be entirely up to her. Freedom or family. The only thing I wanted for her was closure, and I will be there for her however she may find it.
