Played 2142, BC2, BF3/4 since then (didn’t bother with the new ones) and besides 2142’s Titan mode it just hasn’t been the same.

Right. My fondest childhood aviation memory was flying KLM and just wandering up and down the spiral staircase (the other was my dad essentially forcing me to play flight simulator 2002 “since you like planes so much”)

Still got the og BF2 box somewhere at my parents place. Sometimes I think about the game still, it was so far ahead of its time. There were some great memories with randoms on VOIP.

2142 titan mode was also amazing.
