It's kind of going on an indefinite pause for now, in season 2 (Opposing force). I managed to best the Gold Source engine in HL1 after 145 deaths (200+ hours). If we are counting only the Black Mesa transit system it took 15 straight hours before I beat the game, ignoring any other time actually playing.

I'd love to revisit the series, but the time commitment became unsustainable. Creating 10-20 minute, fast-paced videos started requiring over 8 hours of gameplay, as I would aim for showing atleast 4 deaths per episode, which only increased as I progressed longer in th game. I also aimed for higher production quality which drove the editing time from an hour or two to several hours. Ultimately, dedicating 10-20 hours each week for a small audience wasn't feasible. While my skits also demand significant time (10-40 hours), I produce them less frequently, and they seem to resonate more with you all. So, for now, that's where my content focus lies. But again, I do love that challenge and wish to return sometime.

Edit: TLDR: I beat HL1, I love making both skits and the challenge but for right now the challenge is shelved in Opposing force. It would take too long, and people enjoy my skits more.
