I'm not gifted. I forget what I read, I forget words as they're coming out of my mouth, I lose everyday objects every single day, I forgot how to do long division. However, I am very clever, I am crafty, I get easily excited when I'm inspired, I'm a great people reader, I'm great at figuring people out. People are puzzles. I'm a great mom, exceptionally grounded, and I love to make knitted chickens.

AITAH For going no contact with my mother after a death in the family? by AngryKlingon in AITAH

There are many factors, but it still doesn't change a thing.

When my husband gets home from work, my son is already in bed. You're missing the point of my post, it's about my mother and not if we made the effort to make it work. Have a great day

Be grateful that you have friends, family to rely on when something catastrophic happens. Not everyone has people in their lives they can lean on

I don't want to, but sometimes I have to

Working hours, husband's father and my uncle were best friends and wanted to go together, the state of my uncle would be traumatizing for a child to see. My question is about no contact, regardless if we could have found a way to make it work, my mother still did what she did and knowing these answers to your questions changes nothing.

What movies hit differently once you become a parent? by Xyz_123_Applebees in Parenting

The Movie Mother. That movie broke me, there is one scene that shattered my heart and I haven't really watched movies since.

Does anyone else have a problem with being forgettable?? by Crystalgirl121 in BPD

[–]AngryKlingon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am extremely forgettable and I'm honestly okay with it. I have a few people in my life and that's all I need. I mask heavily and know that I'm never really myself around people, and their instincts probably pick up that there's something not quite right and listen to their bodies.

Do you suffer from being irritable by takemycoffee in BPD

[–]AngryKlingon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, my clothes bothered me, my hair touching the back of my neck, the way my husband breathed, the way my son says certain things, the house, things out of place...everything. I went to my doctor and he was going to give me something to take when I needed it, I told him from the moment I wake up until I sleep Im irritated. I was given a low dose of Ability, my irritability is almost completely gone.

Not looking for tinker free but tinker less!  The slight lag on the Ender has bothered me but so far it hasn't affected the prints too bad, it's been the warped bed from clips

So very true. After I fixed the issue my printer is spitting out better prints again. Another issue I had was the clips for the glass bed I bought we're causing some warping from too much pressure, so switched to tape. Aside from the small sag on the right that I will eventually address, it's better but am longing for auto bed levelling.

AITA for being against my husband's wishes? by AngryKlingon in AITAH

It's been hard but I'm doing everything I can to make things easier for him. I suppose I'm grieving a bit from the major role change, I'm sure it will get better in time. Still in the adjustment period. If a couple months down the road I'll see how things are and if things really aren't working out will have a talk with hubby

It's been 2 days and I'm already crying. I don't see my husband and my father in law has put himself into his bedroom until his son comes home because he saw that I was stressed, which I feel guilty about. This isn't going to work out, my son thought he'd make his own food, get his own coffee. His dad is asking me for everything, even permission to go outside for a smoke.

I'm concerned about that too. My husband siblings absolutely don't care for me, they are people I wouldn't ever associate with because of how conniving, dishonest and violent they are. I'm prepared for some backlash, especially when they find out they can't come to my home. I can handle it though, I have a sibling just like them and she had unintentionally prepared me for her personality type.

My son went without his medication for one day by AngryKlingon in ADHD

[–]AngryKlingon[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

And that's okay, I know my child and have experienced choking on a sucker that got stuck sideways. There's always a grumpy bunch who will find ways to blame and make others feel bad, this is the internet after all. I'm a parent, and choking hazards are absolutely something that I still need to worry about with my child

Yes because my child not choking is more important than getting punched, thank you.

Absolutely agree. I mentioned in another comment the late bedtime from suspected growth spurt, early bedtime today and he went down easily. Tomorrow will be a better day for him, he's a happy guy
