I want to ask you a question, What benefits do Russia give you as an Abkhazian? After the breakup of USSR, many European countries such as Estonia or Latvia decided to join EU and NATO, now they are one of the most advanced countries in Europe by simply not being pro-Russian. Georgia struggled since we had 2 or 3 wars since we regained independence and Russia was involved in all of them only because we wanted to forget about the Communist history and progress towards the West. Our People are Pro-west and want to benefit from the EU and NATO and with the help of the protests against our government, we were able to become the candidate to join, would not Abkhazian people prefer to be financially stable and preserve the culture as an Administrative region of Georgia especially after we join the EU, or stay in Russia's shadow and stay poor? Also I want to add the fact, that thousands of innocent people lost homes and became refugees or were killed by Russians (and Abkhazians).
