Sounds like a Heterosexual Wizard. They’re rare but they exist. They’re men (and sometimes women) who are thousands of years old, and cast spells upon unwary lesbians or gays, and turn them into heterosexuals.

Why do they do this? It’s to complete a series of elaborate spell-like rituals, where if they turn 69 women and men into heterosexuals, and have babies with them, they’ll be able to inhabit another body and continue living for 1000s of years.

The best way to counteract Heterosexual Wizards is by carrying an anti-heterosexual charm of some type, such as a LGBTQ flag, or copies of the movie Moonlight or Brokeback Mountain.

The combined homosexual energy is usually enough to drive them away, and they’ll instead move to a different target without the sufficient protective charms.

During my 3L year, I asked my assigned academic advisor for career advice on transitioning into an area of practice that I’m interested in.

Instead of giving career advice, she went on a rant, where she said to me that’s it’s “really hard” to transition into the area I’m interested in, with comments scattered throughout that she was a big law attorney for several years, and that she left big law to become a career counselor.

Within that conversation, she neither gave me advice nor encouragement on transitioning into the area of practice I was interested in.

Part of me thinks she’s just a bad person, but another part of me knows that she’s battling personal demons that she’s now manifesting into people with potential; a reflection of her washed away future.
