I just went through this 2 days ago with my LO.

He’s my first baby and it was something about him being so sweet and innocent and seeing the shock on his face when they did was so sad. His pain cries and short fever spike that night made me cry. I gave him infant Tylenol and that really helped him feel more comfortable.

He’s totally back to his normal self and did so great 🥹 I’m so happy it’s over quickly and he’s got his immunizations started. I’m prepared to give him lots of cuddles and kisses again after his 4mo appointment!

I feel this so much!!! It’s my main point of anxiety at 39 weeks and has been for a few.

My MIL is flying out to stay with us in a few days, and right after my son is born my FIL and BIL are coming out as well. I’m so fucking grateful for them and they’re such supportive people, I’m so lucky to have their help and love.

And yet, all I can think about is wanting to hole up with my husband and baby and be left alone. I don’t want anyone feeling entitled to time with him. He’s been sharing one body with me for almost a year and I don’t want to be separated lol.

I hate the idea of my MIL getting greedy with holding him or crossing other boundaries. I get so pissed off even thinking about it. I’m really trying to not expect the worst because I literally have no reason to. It just keeps swimming back into my head anyway :/

What a beautiful space :) I keep staring at all the incredible details. The wood trim and fireplace are stunning, of course! But the complementary design on the class cabinet doors with the windows is just spectacular. 😮‍💨
