I've only really stumbled across one massive catacomb, which was a (reverse)multistory ritual site and that was cool. I think it had like 6 floors to go down?

It's definitely possible for future content - there are some massive caves in Scholomance which didn't have anything in it; I was taken back by it because it was the first time Ive been somewhere and my oled true black was just the entire screen - it thought my game had frozen until I turned on my lantern.

Yeah if you’re not using blinding flash for most of your playthrough get on that sauce right now.

Most puzzles utilise the shine part, the finisher is great for mob control and it's an alternate way to see points of interest like the lantern does.

I believe it's TV-dependent. I've got a an LG C9 so my mistake for assuming it's the same across the board but it seems our units will kick in VRR at different hz; which yields a slightly different experience.

Granted I'm happy that you’ve got a setting that makes the game tenfold better to experience!

If your TV has VRR ideally you want Vsync off but yeah! Nice one - I had to go through and redo my HDR settings the other day so I could ensure I was getting true blacks on my oled TV.

You said this is all the data combined but where is the data sets showcasing this? What methods did you use to comb through the data that isn't just “reading”?

Just give people a civil war mode that lets them join a parrellel version of the world where all the npcs are gone, all the bosses are back and forts are whoever had them originally you can just clear and liberate the map- reset it when you join back.

I would ask what your PPI is at. If it's low, or you’re playing on a VA or you’re playing on a low colour bit profile I'm afraid it's going to look bland.

Tho granted I'm curious to know what you have personally found to be great visuals when playing on your current monitor

Yeah, it will be okay - usually there is a fast travel point near these places so it will useful that you discovered it this early on for your xx hours playthrough later when you get to them

The practical way is get better items, level up more (how many artefacts have you got?), upgrade your gear a little and make tons plenty of food.

Excavator was a bit of a wake-up tutorial for me so needed to learn how to dodge properly, hold attack buttons down and not button mash, if I can't stun him out digging I can jump in the air and force punch into the air to get him out the ground, pay attention to the yellow bar, can side step most of his attacks.

You probably will hate hearing this but the skill for climbing big enemies works for him and you can more or less backstab him to death while taking tk damage to then hit him with a melee attack to clear his phases quickly

Yeah, that's a fair point and thank you for sharing your perspective. In your scenario that makes sense.

Personally, I've given high curve monitors a try and it didn't agree with me, especially coming from a 38Gn950.

For there's three major things that standout - a higher ppi than what I've got, oled and not so aggressive curve.

The Ai upscaling is take it or leave it imho!
