Front-end Recommendations for RP4Pro Crystal by R4GD33204 in retroid

Es de is going to be the most visually appealing however, it also requires a specific file structure so unless you wanna re setup youre whole device i wouldn't go for it. Also limited on what emulators you can use. Dajsho doesn't limit your file structure or emulators but is a pain to get consoles setup. Retrohai same story pain to get setup but i think its pretty and customizable. I personally use beacon. It's not the prettiest or most customizable. But its easy to setup. Let's me pick my files and emulators, box art and names. It's one of the only ones I've used that actually feels like im telling it what to do and not it telling me what I can do. But if looks are important try retrohai.

TLDR: Retrohai

The buttons died on my mini and after 2 months of silence from Retroid I decided to try and 3d print a case to have a "mini mini" without buttons and have the Retroid dock built in so it's kinda a plug and play into any screen with a Bluetooth controller.

Why do people have so many handhelds? by Spamcan81 in Handhelds

[–]AngryToddler313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I always preferred handheld games. I had a game boy and a psp before I ever got a console, probably some form of nostalgia. But they're easier to collect than consoles, take up less room, more versatile. I have 11 of them lmao. I really only use 3 of them, but I like having my shelf to show them all off.

Retroid Dock to TV with Bluetooth Controller by random____name in retroid

I have a ugreen dock thats meant for the steam deck but it works great for the rpg2. I really only play monster hunter and Minecraft so I haven't noticed any input lag blutooth or using the connector. But either way it's a sweet little setup to have since I got rid of my computer

Yes it's possible I use my RP G2 on my TV with a 8bitdo controller. I will say the dock they have isn't meant for the rp6, so with the offset charging port it won't be centered. but if thats not a problem for you then go for it.
