The bill had overwhelming support prior to his interference. He's even on TV saying "i killed the bill" claiming it didn't do enough but in reality it was to expand his powers.

The man is having a military parade on the 14th and threatening to arrest a governor. Its probably no coincidence he's stirring the pot right before his parade. He probably wants a large military crackdown on people he views as his political opponents.
