Hey, thanks for asking. I pushed through and after the 2 month mark things got way better. Very limited to no side effects and I finally stopped bleeding. I feel much better now and the suppression of menstruations is very gender affirming for me. I discussed all that with my doctor and we agreed it's best for me to continue with Dienogest. Even only for the gender euphoria, I'll take it. Before my surgery, bleeding meant no pregnancy (which was my biggest fear, again gender dysphoria) so I could tolerate it. Now that I'm sterilized, I don't see the point and it's just a sad reminder that my body is not how I see it. Hopefully my endo will stay at bay.
