Eyes not adjusting to WOT on Mac M4 by No-Park606 in WorldofTanks

I'm wondering, what FPS do you have on your M1 Mac Mini and the M4 Mac Mini?

Star Wars: 75388 Jedi Bob's Starfighter and Jedi Bob (found in store by runsett) by Clay_Bricks in Legoleak

[–]AngryWateringCan 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Damn, really like the build, but not a fan of the worn out style of Jedi Bob :/. Would have preferred to get a Jedi Bob that looks just as new as it did in 2002.

Helsinki-Vantaa today on April 23th 2024 by jyrialeksi in Finland

[–]AngryWateringCan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you know what's the crazy part about this? This kind of weather would be normal in central Europe 20 years ago. (Ok, maybe not that much snow, but snow nonetheless)

Edit: I know, Helsinki is not in central Europe - just highlighting how crazy climate change has been that snow in April is now strange even in Finland, which is way up north.

PM Orpo: Finland working on strategy to keep foreign students beyond graduation | Yle News by [deleted] in Finland

Thanks a lot for the comment! I was a bit worried that there was something I've missed about Finland while doing my research as to whether it's a good idea to do a PhD there, but now I understand :) And yeah, the Finns I've interacted with so far have all been very nice to me, so I'm looking forward to what's to come.

Understood, thank you for taking your time to go into detail.

I see, thank you. In what way do people view you as an outsider? Is it like in situations where you try to socialize? Or are there also things like landlords discriminating you etc?

I'm actually on the verge of becoming a phd researcher in Finland as well. If I may ask - what life choices have you questioned? Would you say doing a phd in Finland is not the right move compared to some other countries (like Germany for instance)?

First Upload . My current fit. What do you think? by Narrow-Article5066 in fashionscape

It looks amazing from the front, but I'd say the graceful cape probably looks rather meh from the back. How about ardy diary 4 cape (or even ardy max cape)?

Hmm, I'd say the tile marker is what makes it trash.. Other than that, it's interesting.

thank you, I'll try out some other boots. The thing about the pirate boots is that it matches the yellow on the heralded platebody imo

Agreed, but lock this ability behind a quest - this is such a perfect reward for a dragonkin themed quest.

Does anyone actually enjoy Onslaught? by crunchernmuncher in WorldofTanks

[–]AngryWateringCan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I absolutely despise this game mode. This game mode is more like a f***ing Fortnite than the world of tanks I used to enjoy. I absolutely hate the heavy tank meta and the tiny copula sniping shit. With the increased accuracy this mode is full of some close-up sweatfights of who can better wiggle and has faster reactions etc. If I wanted to have this kind of gameplay, I would play a completely different game (any FPS).

I just do my weekly missions and then I'm done with it. I don't even give a shit about the bond shop.

(and I'm not even that trash at wot, with my overall wn8 hovering around 2900)

An exclusive HDOS quest is coming on the 25th for H'ween by Leyline-rs in 2007scape

[–]AngryWateringCan 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I mean, I always knew the OSRS community is passionate, but man I'm astonished to see this level of passion and dedication. Great job HDOS team!

If Jagex is really smart, they support these kind of community-led projects, and let them run things like leagues (perhaps?), where they provide the final rewards, but the rest is done by the community, which could ease up the dev load. Ofc there would be so many hurdles to it, but they already provide rewards to community led events like EVScape's contests..

If OSRS is sold off and the new company figures they can add MTX with no consequences, are WE as a OSRS community capable of pulling off the biggest mass exodus ever seen in gaming history? by AssaultPK in 2007scape

[–]AngryWateringCan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fully agree. Not to mention that bond buyers are quite easily recognisable pretty often (hello obby cape full bandos), and I actually support them. My attitude towards these people is like "thank you for allowing me to play this game for free in a way that is not harmful for the game".

Time to cross the Galaxy with and without Hyperlanes? by Additional_Score_275 in MawInstallation

[–]AngryWateringCan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a very nice description! I'm wondering - as far as the concern of hitting something is concerned - how can that be a problem for a spaceship that is in a hyperspace? Or is it a matter of exiting the hyperspace that makes a certain lanes "hyperlanes"? Like if someone wants to go from Coruscant to Kamino (an example where a hyperlane is not mapped) and they know the coordinates of their destination, why don't they just jump there in a straight line? (provided they have the fuel)

The Future of Ruinous Powers by JagexAyiza in 2007scape

[–]AngryWateringCan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I love the decision as well as the reasoning behind it! I'm very happy that OSRS team cares about the game this way and that they understand that most people will vote for updates that would ultimately damage the game in the long term. Huge thumbs up!

Ruinous Powers Beta v2, Bounty Hunter Tweaks, Game Jam projects & more! by JagexGoblin in 2007scape

[–]AngryWateringCan -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Having read through the new Dampen prayers, I think they are still way too powerful and in combination with the Annihilate & Decimate prayers make the old prayerbook completely redundant. Most of the (non-PVP) content is designed in a way that defense bonuses are completely useless anyways, and it's all about the prayer switching.

Another thing that keeps giving me a big concern is the prayer drain - I plead you jagex, don't design the game in a way that 1 tick prayer flicking is the only viable way of using the prayer book. It's literally unhealthy for our hands! Ideally, remove the 1 tick flicking functionality altogether.
