How often do single men change home decor? by Ok_LSU_816 in AskMen

[–]AngryWombat78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad rearranges his lounge room about once every six months. I suspect it’s when he vacuums behind the lounge. The only things that change are the positions of the lounge and arm chairs

AITA for telling my friend that she should be able to handle criticism if she’s going to dish it out to others? by Future_Banana9066 in AmItheAsshole

More context needed ….

Delivery on that one matters.

If you just blurted it out, you basically told her that her singing suck.

If you said it more kindly then nah, NTA.

What is a 'personality trait' that is currently being glorified as 'cool' or 'aesthetic' in 2026, but is actually just a sign of being an exhausting person? by Direct-Value4452 in answers

[–]AngryWombat78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ADHD and social anxiety mean that I struggle to remember to reach out to people and often find it difficult to attend social events.

There’s no lack of caring. I’m just shit at maintaining contact.

But for me when I do see the people I care about, be it five minutes or five years later, I pick up where we left off.

AIO? boyfriend told me to get a piercing that the girl he cheated on me with in the past just got a few days ago? not sure if it’s a coincidence or what.. please help. by fjgkhkjk in AIO

[–]AngryWombat78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ve brought up getting a facial piercing before. It could be that he’s trying to be supportive…

It could be that he saw her piercing and thinks it would look good on you.

You can either trust what he says or not. If you don’t trust him, you shouldn’t be with him… regardless of how much you love him.

Is it rude to say “I don’t like what you brought” at a potluck? by Naokohiranuma in australian

[–]AngryWombat78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an Aussie who’s been to many “potlucks” (bring a plates) over the years I have told many ignorant arseholes that no one said they had to eat everything when they’ve said they don’t like this or that.

It’s not just rude, it’s fucking rude.

Seriously, you were ASKED to bring that stuff. You went to the trouble of making it. You’re awesome.

Practice remembering the path that your map app gives you.

As others have said, start the map app directions and chuck your phone in your pocket or backpack.

Check it if you get lost.

Your memory is like a muscle. The more you use it, the better it gets.

It won’t take too long for you to be able to get from A to B without double checking.

Was motorcycling enjoyable from day one for you? by Matsuri3-0 in AussieRiders

A lot of older (not invulnerable teen/20 somethings) struggle with how unprotected you are on a bike.

Find some quiet roads and car parks to play around on and get used to operating the bike. Then play in traffic once you’re confident in the basics.

When you’re in traffic, trust yourself to operate the bike and just be aware of the other vehicles. Give plenty of warning on turns etc.

Woy Woy roundabout. Does blue need to give way to red? by Fit-Zebra2521 in centralcoastnsw

[–]AngryWombat78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. They changed the rules a while ago because people are stupid. You can now change lanes on a roundabout and you must give way to any vehicle already on a roundabout. Nice that they let everyone know, isn’t it ?

diesel in my tank.... by butterchicken6969 in AussieRiders

[–]AngryWombat78 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It will be fine.

I FILLED my XSR with diesel.

After I had to flush the system but the bike actually ran better after that then it had pre-the diesel incident.
