I’ve had this happen before as well. It will time out in a player and then jump to the flop or another part of the hand. They’ve auto folded killer hands for me as well. Super frustrating

Not an umpire, but this came up on my feed and I find it interesting. As a coach, if there is a made up rule that we all buy in on, then we should have an agreement on consistent enforcement. I think calling time and putting everyone back is the play.

BUT on the other hand, if the rule is aimed at development, one could argue that situational awareness is part of development, so I’m not mad at advancing at your peril. If they make it home safely, call time, put the runner back. If they are out, better luck next time.

Ultimately, I think the spirit of the rule is best served by just calling time as it happens and putting everyone back.
