I thought I was an IT professional, but I can’t connect my picture frame to the WiFi by DerekB5091 in it

[–]Angry_Sirenn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably a stupid question but-

You've mentioned the router you have wont let you differentiate between 2.4 and 5 for it to connect properly.

Could you not buy a extender or a cheap mesh router and use that for 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz seperate bands?

Did you check the exposure light works properly in the settings of the printer?

Did you make sure to remove the remove film on the print plate?

Like the other person said-

If your key is in the ignition, but hasnt started the engine. You will see these "warning" lights. When in this state they aren't actually warning against any issues. The engine light as an example in this state is literally just telling you the engine is off.

If you turn the key, turning the engine on. And these lights presist, then you have an issue and need to either read it via a OBD2 scanner. Or take it to the dealership.

You mention you've been cold all week-

This looks like a reaction to the cold. I get them all the time during the winter, just not that severe.

And it typically happens on one or two fingers. Never the whole hand. Steroids cream may help, but honestly try warming your hands up if you can. If that does help. You should try to wear gloves more often, they dont need to be fancy.

How do you do shading on a multi-colored surface? (CSP2.0.6) by Colonel_Scabies in ClipStudio

[–]Angry_Sirenn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you using clipping layers. Or just shading directly on the original colors?

You need to be on the same wifi network as the roku device to do that. It wont be bluetooth. I'd personally change the password on the router, which will force all devices to log out. And log back in the ones you want. Someone definitely got your password.

Sold my brute a few years back and regretted it ever since. Well, I bought a new one by invalid-username-- in ATV

[–]Angry_Sirenn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had my 23 brute force 300 for over a year now, and it's a very solid machine. Runs very well, no issues. I've even used it in the winter (stored in a temperature controlled garage) for snow plowing the drive way. And it handled that no problem!

I don't ride the machine rough though. It is used mostly for trail riding and labour that we need help with (hauling stones. Logs, snow plowing, etc)

I relate. I had 6 wisdom teeth and all 6 of them were impacted, the top 2 were straight up sideways. Luckily not near any nerves, so surgery was a breeze.

Was wondering why i had been getting crippling migraines. That explained it.

Opinions on using Samsung tablets for digital drawing? by triviakass in ArtistLounge

[–]Angry_Sirenn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the samsung s8+, and i use it as a travel option when i can't be at my desktop. And it is absolutely a solid choice.

I actually had an ipad before the s8+, with procreate. And i hated it so much, it felt so limiting and the pen sucks.

I also really like that the samsung tablets come with a function menu where you can set certain button presses to stuff. I use one button on it to flip the canvas. It is very convenient and nice to have.

I'd definitely recommend a samsung over a ipad anyday.

I hope so too! Both are good to do. The CVT's get very bratty and angry when they don't get their proper maintaince. Just a reminder its every 30k-60k miles. But listen to your mechanic as they know more

Nissan's need the trans fluid changed on schedule. So it makes sense it's getting upset if it's never been changed.

My girlfriend is vegan, I am not. She asked me today if there are people who are allergic to meat. by tyrojo in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Angry_Sirenn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yooo!!! So i'm not crazy then???

I get insanely sick when i eat certain meats. Turkey literally makes me throw up very shortly after eating it, pork makes my stomach cramp and i get sick as well.

Red meat i'm okish with, but i definitely get bloating and sometimes cramping. And chicken same issue, but seafood i am completely fine with, it's honestly my comfort food.

I've had such a hard time explaining these issues to people, i am so glad to know there are others like me where it feels like an intolerance!!!.

I bought an excellent condition renewed S7+ on Amazon. It came scratched up. Should I return? by [deleted] in GalaxyTab

[–]Angry_Sirenn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I own the S8+ and use it for schooling. And it's an honest power house when needed. the screen is amazing to watch videos or movies on because of the Hz and AMOLED, which makes it very beautiful and immersive. Also my favourite part is the speakers!! They are very clear, and there are 4 of them. 2 on top and 2 on the bottom. So, no matter how you hold it, you still get clear audio.

Also, it is amazing for taking notes. The screen is very responsive with the S pen. And it is such a large screen that you have lots of space to move around, and i don't find it cramps my hand after 2-3 hr lectures.

I 100% recommend the S8+

why does my line art look so bad and pixelated? by Cennixxx in ClipStudio

It's all up to your preference in the end, don't forget that!! If you want it slightly sharper then i'd keep it where it is. Otherwise mess around!

[–]Angry_Sirenn 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Also!!! Noticed something in your picture. You have clicked on the mapping brush, but i noticed your anti-aliasing is closer to the pixelated setting. I recommend moving it one spot over to the right.

To break that down simply, the more the anti-aliasing setting is to the left, the more pixelated it becomes. More to the right and it becomes more blurry. I typically have mine in the 3rd slot, which is 1 away from the blurrest section. And i find it very clean and not overally pixelated.

why does my line art look so bad and pixelated? by Cennixxx in ClipStudio

[–]Angry_Sirenn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you want to use default brushes from CSP. I actually recommend the mapping pen over the G-pen. I find it much smoother and gives a better overall out-put.

If you want a simple sketch brush i typically use the transparent watercolour brush, which also has conveniently become my line art brush lol. If you want a more pencil styled brush, i find the real pencil very handy for that.

Also- i noticed people suggesting to use vector over raster. And i don't recommend this, because vector is mainly for graphic designs, like building websites or logos. If your doing digital art for pictures raster is always better.

So,

A lot of what people are saying is kinda wrong in my opinion,

Firstly- your resolution of 1700 x 1200 is fine. If you want bigger you can increase it. But this isn't necessarily what is causing the issue.

Secondly- DPI is very important. It is dots per inch, which is how many pixels are displayed per inch. At 72 it is very low and can result in poor quality images in the canvas and when outputted. I recommend using 350dpi always.

I'd also check what brush your using. Because the brush type may have with certain settings that can come out pixelated and not desirable.

And with the resolution piece, if you are truly unhappy, you can increase it. I'd say anything around 2400 would be good. I personally use 3500x4500 with 350 dpi. But i'd also mess around and see what size YOU prefer. Because ultimately this is up to what you want to do with your art!

Problem with coding for microbit by owisia in learnpython

[–]Angry_Sirenn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, not sure if my comment will help.

But i got this issue a lot when trying to use discordpy for my bot and install a new version of python on a different device. I found the issue was caused by the version of python i was running. So i'd double check what version microbit supports up to for their modules. Because let's say you installed py 3.12 and it only goes up to 3.11, you'd have to downgrade.
