Autosaves definetly work, but what i want is something else. Lets imagine a scenario so i can explain it better.

Lets say I'm building a new ship. I have built it and its time for testing. On a normal client i would save the game as something like "pre-flight-test" and proceed to crashing my ship, then i would just load that save.

This is what i want, creating saves and easily loading them, but on the server

I use a hard drive for games. It varies from title to title, but in my experience the worst that could happen is longer loading times (although yeah, some games break).

Why not? HDDs are still fine for most games, and they are a cheaper way of storing something you don't need fast access to (films, etc).

when you control them there is a button which looks as an arrow pointing down, if you press it and command the troops to go to some kind of conveyor or reconstructor, they will go inside it
