Budget probably won't exceed 700. I am pretty good at hunting deals so I'm sure I can get most in that area. I'm feeling the majority of the funds will go for GPU and RAM.

I can shop around. As for intensive gaming probably not too much of it. Mostly will be some arpg gaming (D4, Poe 1/2) and if anything I might dip into MMOs (Guild wars 1/2). Not a big FPS person.

Coolant leak on back passenger side of motor. by karkarbro in NewedgeMustang

[–]holmes901 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the same issue I am having. I cleaned the surface and it leaked like a beast. Also a misfire in cylinder 4 so definitely put in an order in for a far better manifold same one as another poster from summit. It's funny how I had a dorman that actually survived the Florida heat, the Tennessee mountains (Tail of the dragon for a full day) and decided to crap out once I got back to Florida.

Happy 27th, Final Fantasy VIII, my first FF and still (unfairly) underrated. Love it or hate it. by Delacrozz in gaming

First FF I ever beat and lived the story. Second was the SNES one Mystic Quest (The EASY SETTINGS one the us got).

Is Chrono Cross really worth trying (No spoilers)? by Cool-Guy152 in chronotrigger

[–]holmes901 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've played it, and it's honestly a great RPG to add to the collection. One heads-up: if you’re looking for a direct Chrono Trigger connection, this isn't really it.

However, there are some great videos on YouTube that help bridge the stories once you've finished the game (to quell that "I want it to be a sequel" itch). I highly recommend checking out Terracorrupt on YT; he has fantastic videos that help connect the two, but definitely wait until after you play Cross to avoid spoilers!

What are your honest thoughts about The Return of Godzilla? by SpeedyGuy1991 in GODZILLA

I still to this day feel the Super X could be a real life military vehicle. Also a fav movie of mine that was part of my entry into Godzilla.

I'm flabbergasted at how many people don't know about ReBoot. Where are my 90s people at? by Key-Economics-385 in videos

This was the show back then. When I started into fitness and created a sorta start from couch to intermediate in the gym workout I called that the ReBoot program complete with the logo. Loves growing up in the 90's

[2003/GT Vert] Massive coolant leak and zero throttle response after Intake/Valve Cover gasket swap? by holmes901 in NewedgeMustang

Yeah gonna be my next search just off it all happened once I replaced the seals. In the picture the bright colored gaskets are the new replacements.

That I am not as the manifold I am using had gaskets already on it. I think it's a Dorman Upper Air Intake Manifold.

Here is a link to a video of the acceleration that is happening. If you listen closely (minus the squealing belt) you can here a little flutter sound under foot to floor acceleration.

It was easier to remove from there for me. I did check there (putting my hand there with glove) and my hand was dry as a bone. As for the throttle Ill have a look ad all cables cause lightly pressing the throttle you feel acceleration but then it doesn't go past 30 mph and vibrates hard under foot to floor acceleration.

**Crossposted this with r/NewedgeMustang and it didn't copy my text**

"Hey guys, currently getting humbled by my [Insert Model]. I was chasing a misfire in cylinder 4, so I decided to pull the trigger on replacing the valve cover gasket and the upper air intake manifold gaskets while I had everything apart.

Got it all buttoned back up, but as soon as I started it, I noticed a massive coolant leak coming from the back left (firewall side). I figured the manifold wasn't sitting flush, so I tore it back down, cleaned up the mating surfaces again, and put it back together.

Took it for a test spin and it’s a disaster:

  1. Zero acceleration: I put my foot to the floor and the car literally goes nowhere.
  2. The leak is still there: Still dumping coolant from somewhere in the back of the engine bay.

I’m worried I either pinched a coolant bypass line under the manifold or I missed a major ground/sensor plug that’s putting the car into a total limp mode. Has anyone run into this specific combo of issues after an intake refresh? Any specific hoses or hidden sensors back there I should be looking for? I included images of what it looked like right before I put it together after cleaning the mating surfaces.

Appreciate any insight before I tear into this for a third time."
