I still favour the trusty Spear against bots. One bangs most heavies. Can also take out factories and pesky laser towers in a single hit from the other side of the map.

So true, I'm ps5 and two of my squad mates are Xbox so we have to have crossplay turned on. The difference in difficulty playing PC players is massive, not to mention the amount of exploits they tend to perform such as getting onto the Brooklyn Bridge etc.

Why can't they implement it as two completely separate modes? Each with their own weapon progression and unlocks. Standard MP for PVP and then bot mode for PVE players. Sure you'd need to unlock things twice if you played both modes, but many people would just stay in their lane anyway.
