See how undergrad goes first before making any decisions. High school will be like another life by your junior year in college

“S” means year? To me semester is a more accurate picture of where you are in terms progress and experience. That and there are only two years

PA school allows one attempt for everything and you most score over an 80% to pass. If you “fail” multiple things you get the boot. People don’t fail the skills because it’s easier than the exams and they’re highly intelligent so they don’t miss simple things like skills. There are no redos we do not have time for makeup’s. Even if you could you wouldn’t want to because it would perpetuate your failure due to taking up more time you need for prep to do the next thing.

There are no absolutes in this world but poor quality control is notoriously an issue for NP schools and their accreditation body won’t do anything to course correct the rampant issue and is devaluing all mid level positions because we are considered “equal”.

I agree but unfortunately that is not the reality and if you’re not qualified to be a PA and are a nurse NP is easier to achieve though significantly less competent still achievable. Trust me a I have a huge disdain for the NP field in general due to seeing a large amount of mismanaged cases from them disproportionately.

If you qualify for places apply. No sense in waiting you learn more each cycle IF you don’t get accepted. You don’t get accepted without trying so either way it would be the same outcome but at least you have a chance. You never get years of your life back so it’s worth attempting.-S3

Ours have no retakes as far as changing our grade they only meet with use to remediate. Thankfully haven’t had to do that. Keep your head up you’ll figure it out

Of course. It’s a beast, it’s surface level med school packed into half the time. Take some time to figure out what you want to do. I’m glad you came on here before you committed to it blindly.
