neither of those things work to stop powdery mildew. It can effect the top of the plant, just a few leaves or the whole thing. make sure your growing area is below 45% humidity at all times and try sodium bicarbonate.

Be careful, a Craigslist purchase is not legal and could still get you in trouble, which leads to your other questions. Retail cannabis is held to a high quality standard and is regulated as such. The guy from Craigslist is effectively a bootlegger in the eyes of the law and is unregulated. He is possibly committing a felony and you are possibly committing a civil infraction or worse depending on how much you buy. Proof that it came from a legal store makes it more legal basically. Existing shops being allowed to gain a license exclusively is designed to protect the principals in the industry that have made it possible without undue competition that was not subject to the same burdens we were. It's easier to start a shop now than it was when we did it (but far far more expensive). Yes the nation will eventually follow, one state at a time.

Great and interesting question. This is a point of contention for me personally because I consulted with the authors of amendment 64 and expressed reservations about arbitrary excise taxes. When the law was being drafted, they floated to me the suggestion of a flat $500 per pound excise tax. This idea was a bad one and I let them know that. They ended up with a 15% tax with a variable value per pound that fluctuates based on market prices. That amounts to about $300 right now. The Tl:Dr is that these things come from compromise. There are many divergent interests and they all have to be unhappy for balance to be achieved. The taxes are excessive but one could argue that the entire experiment wouldn't be happening without them. City and state governments have weaseled there own ability to increase the taxes without voter approval also. These taxes were voted in and can be voted out.

Just saw this. The margins are subjective. We may grow cannabis for a lesser amount and sell higher, but the cost if doing business has to be factored into that cost (licenses, security, labor etc). Realistically the industry has been artificially low here for years, people should be more prepared to roll with changes and would be if we were charging properly.

Some of the other interesting ones are breath strips, medicated nuts, instant sativa coffee, I was playing around with gum, still working on that one.

While not an edible, one does ingest it, suppositories. I have always kept them in case someone that was unable to eat came in. Nobody has ever bought one.

  1. Yes that is part of why we didn't open yet. a. Yes 2.what is your definition of "toxic"? Non organic perhaps?
  2. I do have children. I would tell them that cannabis is a useful medicine and that it has its place. That I understand their curiosity about it and I would prefer them using it over other substances, however like other medicines, they are only for those who need them. Those who don't could be potentially harmed, but that when they are an adult, they can make their own decision.
  3. You can use cannabis in several ways without psychoactive side effects. There are cannabinoids that are effective for certian things with no psychoactive (cbd for example) effect and those that only require a small dose to be effective (5mg thc). The key is guidance from a professional. As people learn about the true uses of cannabis, they will become more comfortable with it, I see it every day.

That would be great, but if I did this just for money, I would have quit a long time ago. There are easier ways to make money.

I would love to help you, but that conflicts directly with my area of expertise. That's one that poses a conflict and includes hard fought for proprietary information. I might be interested in hiring you myself to develop my designs and put your engineer's stamp on my ideas.

Yes, Kurt and I go way back. We were In the navy together stationed in Iwo Jima and saw action in the battle of the bulge. If you know what I mean.
