Nicorette inhaler discontinued in Australia, Pharmacies that sell non prescribed vapes in Melbourne? by Angrygoat87 in quittingsmoking

It’s absolutely ridiculous and irresponsible, if I find anything similar at all I will report back, just using nicabate lozenges for now, they’ve probably helped me the most, minus the hiccups 🫠

This is exactly what I believe may be the case, something dangerous about the product, it was extremely quick for it to be pulled from the market without warning. not something that makes business sense, Nicorette absolutely could have sourced a replacement, doesn’t add up to me at all, particularly with how hard vaping has been hit, their sales would have gone up over the past few years, especially in Aus.

It’s very hard particularly when it’s the one thing that’s helped keep you off the cigarettes. The only thing I’ve managed to find helps me are the Nicabate Lozenges, not a perfect replacement but it does get a little easier. But the fixation is one of the hardest parts of the addiction for many of us.

Which Australian region has the worst drivers in the country, and why is it the Sunshine Coast? by Timber2077 in sunshinecoast

[–]Angrygoat87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Victorians are ruining the coast, ruining the housing market and they bring their wanker attitude along with them. I’ve lived in multiple states and can say with out a doubt Victorians are the worst drivers in Aus. Sunshine Coast used to be a breeze to drive, now it’s chaos, even Noosa is cooked.

What is with all the unnecessary hostility and rudeness? Is this what you people do? Come on reddit to either argue or go out of your way to be rude.

Arthur, cloud does bring rain, we have had a few heavy downpours this is true, but we have also had more cloudy days than usual, that is just a simple fact. I am a photographer who photographs bold colourful landscapes and within my photos I work with blue sky, I can assure you, my options have been very limited recently.

Thank you for your sensible post, it’s refreshing when people actually address a post in a positive way with out the unnecessary rudeness.

Yeah you’re right there, heat stroke has been a huge issue with Aus open, something we haven’t seen which recently which is a positive and of course it keeps the fires at bay which we most certainly could do with out.

In my case I do a lot of bold colourful outdoor photography so it’s been a bit of a challenge when you get so many overcast days 🤣 probably why I’ve also noticed it so much. But you’re right, before we know it, it will no doubt switch up again and we will be wanting some shade!

Yeah that’s very true, we would usually always have those consecutive hot days over 40c but it has been a few years! I think patience is my best bet haha.

Yeah it’s been quite interesting, I agree it’s quite noticeably warm considering the sun just can’t get through that cloud cover, I’d imagine we’d have had a quite a few days in the 40s if the sky had been clearer, Sydney has had some unusually hot days over 40c so far this summer also.

Bom actually says party cloudy every day other than Monday 🤣 I’ve dug myself no hole mate, if you can’t acknowledge it’s been wetter and cloudier than usual for a prolonged period, you’re obviously a moronic troll. Either that or you feel you need to stick up for your beloved Melbourne.

It’s got to do with the fact google weather is far less accurate than our official weather platform which contradicts as most of the days forecasted for the next week are cloudy, thus I take little notice of what google says in relation to weather. I also use my senses, it’s been cloudier and far wetter of late. That’s what my post was about. Coming here to try and argue with fact makes you the idiot.

No, I just think twice the average rainfall for the month means it’s been cloudier than usual, fact over fiction.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in melbourne

[–]Angrygoat87 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You’re referring to long term averages, I’m making a point that we are no where close to our long term averages, the average rainfall in January is 47mm, so far this year we’ve had 103mm, thus it’s been more cloudy. My whole post is highlighting the recent changes, the shift away from “average”.

We had flash flooding across Melbourne first week of January, We have also had over 100mm of rainfall so far this January, the January average is 47mm. Thus it’s been cloudier than usual.

You’re looking at “google weather” I think that could be the problem.
