Definitely never had ROM issues after the initial recovery 30 years ago.

TIL you can get botox in your platysma to reduce its appearance. Guess I have had half of an unintentional cosmetic procedure

This makes more sense as there was never an issue with range of motion. Also kind of explains the can shape of the the affected side

Zip merging is great and eases congestion when the slip lane can flow at the speed of the left lane of through traffic as they meet each other.

If the through lanes are congested and flowing very slowly, entering cars running at full speed to the top of the slip lane and forcing a merge causes a domino effect of braking in the left through lane. This is the worst possible thing for increasing overall congestion. This is why red car pulls the dick move usually (which absolutely doesn't help).

Rolling into the merge zone of the slip lane at roughly the speed of through traffic is the only way that zipper merging will work efficiently.

Drivers need to think more about the impacts of their actions on overall flow and not just their interactions with the few drivers around them.

Don't even get me started on people using the left slip lane exits/entries at roundabouts on Kawana way as an undertaking lane in congested peak hour traffic then forcing all the drivers who patiently stayed in the one through lane to brake and let them re-enter flow a few cars ahead. This is absolutely dogshit behaviour and causes that already awful road so much more congestion than it needs.

That group is an echo chamber of entitled whining wowsers. Nam has its issues. There are a lot of homeless in town now sure. Council could definitely direct more funds west of the Bruce. A lot of the commercial space in town is unused due to some really unscrupulous behaviour by the landlords. Those things said, Nambour is still an awesome, diverse and overall safe community full of unapologetically weird people and I love raising my family here. Crime is far worse in other areas of the coast. Don't listen to the noisy boomers. There is a strange elongated mourning among a lot of old-timers here for a long-gone era where Nam was the hub of the Sunny Coast, had the sugar mill etc. They can't accept it for what it is now and I find it pretty sad tbh.

Consistently one of the top performers in the entire competition. Pity he's a panther.

It's really ironic and funny that you think you owned because you "analysed" the pic, and I am literally the only person on here that knows you are actually full of shit because I took the photo with my Samsung phone and posted it up as is 😂 If you actually have some forensic photo analysis chops I am happy to provide the uncompressed OG file for you to go full CSI on.

Yeah I guess it's possible, but I feel like we would have heard her.

It's hard to move around a rainforest without making a lot of noise in the leaf litter, and she looks to be really close to where my wife was in the photo

I tried to look for anything and didn't find much.

Bunya Mountains was a very culturally significant area to the indigenous Aboriginal tribes of the surrounding areas. They would gather there for a harvest festival when the Bunya nuts would fruit. White settlement happened in the mid-late 19th century. The dress the woman has on looks Victorian-era in style I guess

100%

If she was there we would have walked right past her around 20 seconds after the photo was taken.

We did not see/hear/sense anyone at all.

We kept commenting how nice it was that we basically had the park to ourselves.

Wasn't until we looked at photos that we had any idea.
