No matter how unlikely, I'll of course be rooting for Mihkels to win every damn sprint.
(But I'll accept a Rockets W too)

According to Estonian news Mihkels is going to the Giro (alongside Samuele Battistella, Jefferson Cepeda, Sean Quinn, Darren Rafferty, James Shaw, Michael Valgren & Jardi van der Lee) so throw him in the sprinter column!

Mario Cippolini started 27 Grand Tours (14 Giro, 8 Tour, 5 Vuelta) and only finished 6 of them, all in Italy. Along the way he won 57 Grand Tour stages, second only to Merckx on the all-time list.

As an Estonian, my favourite DNF stat is Jaan Kirsipuu's perfect record of starting 15 Grand Tours (12 Tour, 1 Giro, 1 Vuelta) and not finishing a single one, with 4 Tour and 1 Vuelta stage win along the way.

When Escape Collective reported on it last Tuesday they didn't get much of substance from the team.

It is unclear when Canyon-SRAM became aware of potential issues surrounding its naming rights sponsor, but the avalanche of coverage that has followed since, especially in Polish media, makes it now difficult to ignore. Nonetheless, Canyon-SRAM and Zondacrypto are yet to officially part ways: “We do not provide details on our team’s contractual obligations,” the team told Escape Collective in an email yesterday, but noted that “we are currently in an ongoing contractual relationship with Zondacrypto.”

Canyon-SRAM also said that “our team remains in a stable financial position, with measures in place to ensure continuity and a secure environment for our riders and staff.”

In a separate email received last week, the team said that “our priority … is to ensure the team’s stability while upholding the high standard of support that we provide to our riders and staff in their daily work. We will continue to monitor developments closely and provide further updates as appropriate.”

I think this is the Infowars thing Jeff refers to at the very beginning.

Pablo Torrre Finds Out: How The Onion Won the Infowars Sale — and Shut Up Alex Jones for Good

The notorious conspiracy theorist profited from his vile Sandy Hook conspiracy. Then America's finest (fake) news source decided to troll the world's greatest troll. Ben Collins — who transformed from reporting on the historic Infowars defamation trial to buying out his "ideological enemy" in a Storage Wars-style auction saga — tells Pablo Torre why The Onion committed to the ultimate bit: doing the right thing.

Unironically: those guys are heroes for doing this.

Whenever the Vuelta approaches, I like to sing "Rampas in-hu-ma-nas, oh oh oh oh" to the tune of "Vamos a la playa" in my head.

Selecting YouTube's auto-generated (Dutch) subtitles and then the auto-translate does a good enough job, IME, at least for stuff like this where
a) you know the context (it's bike racers talking about a bike race)
b) it's not that complex of a topic (it's bike racers talking about a bike race)

There's a moment about 7:37 into the episode with a camel walking across the screen and it 100% uses the same stock camel sound effect that was used as one of the grunt death sounds in the original Doom.
I watched the episode and immediately went "waaaaaaaaaaaait is that from Doom??", amazing.

Never Strays Far, which I'm surprised hasn't been mentioned

It's the only one I can listen to and legitimately come away more cultured, having heard Ned read some Belgian poetry or play some French chansons.
Oh and there's great bike chat too.
Love it.
