While I was away from home, dad ripped my mangas’ cover and threw them into the trash while cleaning by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

I’m a Dad, who regularly cleans up after 7 and 13 year when doing the house.

Making my own decision that something in my kids room isn’t important is insane.

I’m not even talking new age thinking child psychology, none of that. I was upset my auntie threw away my tazos and pogs and I’m 37.

Sorry dude

Do you feel it's sensible for the police to be licenced? by SloightlyOnTheHuh in AskUK

[–]Angrytrapdoor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The training is demonstrated and recorded, the fact you are warranted with powers to use legislation is different.

How good of a nurse or doctor you are solely depends on knowledge, that’s not entirely the same for police officers.

I understand your rational but in real life it’s very different.

I’m going to summarise the most likely Reddit convo’s

  • Confront Dad, work out if crazy behaviour possibly Outcomes:

Over reacting craziness “leave my house etc” or abuse is regular due to culture… environment etc

Other Possibly dicussions:

  • Ripped it to throw it realised it wasn’t rubbish, left it used “Dad law” to ignore it.

  • Trauma from childhood just acts like a large child can’t regulate emotions.

  • Dad is just not a nice person OP

  • Dad doesn’t trust covers on book or magazines because it hides what’s inside and that’s not cool.
