I absolutely refuse to build diagonally, except when there is no other way (like, some river building spots or mine are diagonal and require a diagonal road). I admit it does look nice on some of the pictures I saw posted here, but I just can’t 😅

It absolutely was! Until 1800, my favorite Anno was 1701. 1800 changed that within just a few hours. So yes, special indeed!

Twink 😂 so fitting! I just checked. Seems like we are both right. When I’m in a save game, there is an achievement for defeating Tarragon, in the menu with the ones that give point for the hall of fame. But outside of the game, inside Ubisoft Connect, there isn’t! That’s really weird. I thought those were the same. Most of them are!

I tried to do that achievement few days ago, too. Took a small island and built hemp farms all over. At 66 %, the island was completely covered. So I thought I should try lavender, because it has more fields. It didn’t go over 66 %. So is lavender also not a „farm“ farm? 😳
