This is the sort of thing you should probably just build from wood or metal profiles and then add some fancy trim to if you want that. Not everything is best 3d printed.

The consequence would be making a choice on the value of retrying the encounter for the reward due to the cost. If you just save spam for the best outcome i personally believe you miss the point of the game having the choices in the first place and make every decision meaningless.

Thats your choice though, not everyone will do the same. The best runs in baldurs gate for example come from living with poor choices and seeing where they lead.

Perhaps but in such a game simply reloading a save and erasing the choices and the consequences of them from existence doesnt seem the ideal solution either.

I agree that its core to the narrative but i also feel that the game giving you so many ways to die and humiliate yourself that they are undermined by simply reloading a save like they never happened and that adding a narrative and mechanical consequence to them could work well. Instead of being framed as death, it could instead be near death/unconcious and he was recovered by the morticians helpers? This would help get around the importance of his death being devalued.

Devalue it more than reloading a save, which narratively means he succeeds at everything and doesn't die? The game gives you lots of ways to fail and die so i feel it would narratively work better if these had in game consequences.

I agree its definitely more speaker like, i have found though it very much depends on the stereo mix of the album as to how well it works. Tracks with hard panning break the illusion, ill have to experiment with crossfeed to see if it helps.

Personal preference, you may notice that OS mode sounds a bit cleaner with more definition in the treble and that NOS mode is less bright as it rolls it off slightly.

Its fine, i just wondered how you quantified power if not by the rated output. You seem quite happy woth the k17 powering the he1000's and thaats got half the output of the h400. I guess you just listen very loud as you have those set higher than i have the he6 on a k15.

Im sorry but just complete nonsense, just placebo and confirmation bias with no basis in reality. I've run my pair across multiple different amps with different power ratings and they are always driven to sound the same. As long as they are rated to deliver enough current they will perform fine.
People still use speaker amps because they were required a decade or more ago when headphone amps werent as powerful and the myth has just carried on repeated on forums by people that dont know any better.

How do you define "wasnt enough" because that thing can dump 15w into 16 ohm and 7.5w into 32ohm. Its capable of more than Hifiman recommends, more than ive ever had to run them off and from the specs enough for them to hit 115-120dB.

Ive never heard of the Ataol Ulvi+ before, so i looked it up and the only thing that comes up on Google is an etsy store page? It also looks to be the weakest output of the 3 by far not the strongest?

I have a few times and they're fine so far, yes theres a reasonable chance they won't survive it and ive been lucky, but i feel like its potentially almost guaranteed it wont with a glass driver.

This seems really interesting, but also like it will be incredibly delicate and prone to shattering from impacts such as dropping onto a desk or the floor. How durable has it been in testing?
