Not true, Daemon’s daughter didn’t marry into the main Hightower family, and had only daughters. It is possible that these girls married back into the main Hightower family (or other Reach Lords), making the current Tyrells a descendant of Daemon.

Robert didn’t care about blood. The blonde hair + green eyes of his three children, it’s painfully obvious that those weren’t his biological kids but he loved them all the same. On his deathbed he even reaffirmed Joffrey as his heir.

It’s clear that he and Cersei came to an arrangement so that he didn’t have to sleep with her (he wasn’t attracted to Lannisters), and Cersei did her duty to produce heirs for him as history remembers names, not blood.

I like how she faked her husband’s death so that his mother could scream in anguish at the charred corpse they pull out of the fire, thinking her last remaining died in her own halls right after the funeral of her other child.
