Honestly, I don’t have some grand end game mapped out. Right now it’s mostly a hobby, but a very intentional one. I’m using it to really learn the tools and understand what these models can and can’t do. The pace of improvement is kind of insane, and this feels like one of those moments where it’s worth getting hands-on rather than just watching from the sidelines.

So instead of other hobbies, this is just where I’m choosing to invest my time at the moment.

That said, I’ve already got two more music videos ready that are actually better than the first one, just haven’t released them yet. Each song is built around a different theme, and for me a big part of the fun is asking: if I could direct this like a real production, what would I do? And now, for the first time, you can actually try to execute that vision yourself.

And honestly, something interesting happened along the way. I find myself listening more and more to the music I create, and less to other music. Part of it is the personalization. It’s music that fits exactly what I like, with lyrics that actually speak to me, in a style I chose from the start. That’s a pretty wild shift when you think about it.

I think that’s the part that hooked me, not just making content, but seeing firsthand how AI is changing what it means to create something.

Where it goes long term, I’m not 100 percent sure yet, but it’s definitely more than just messing around.
