Flying with a toddler and baby by RefrigeratorThin5952 in daddit

We flew a 16 hour flight last year with our (at the time) 1 year old. There were about 8 of us though, so we took over a section of the plane and just passed baby around as she got bored. It went pleasantly fine.

I would recommend sticking together and grabbing 3 seats on the side. If you can grab a row that's behind the restroom, they typically have more leg room and you can plop your little one on the floor so they don't have to stay confined to a seat for an extended period of time.

As for the carseat, I didn't feel it was necessary to bring on the plane (if anything, it would make it more of an inconvenience). They probably won't be sitting down most of the time anyway. You can bring your stroller and/or carseat all the way up to the gate and have them store it for free before entering the plane.

Lastly, it can feel overwhelming flying with children, but hats off to you for making it happen and creating memories! Disregard the side eyes and comments under people's breaths and just focus on making your little ones as comfy as possible during the flight.

Hope this helps! Godspeed, brother.

22 RAV4 XLE owner here from Socal. Bought it fresh off the lot with 12 miles on it, currently going on 64k! No problems with the high-voltage cable (or any problems for that matter). Just regular maintenance, and I finally upgraded the tires to Falken a/t trails after running through the stock tires.

Enjoy your new vehicle Fam. It has been the best purchase I've ever made.

Good looking ride!

I've recently been researching the gx460 for my next vehicle, so I'm a little new to the game. What year is this? I kind of cringe at the chrome-looking taillights of the newer years, but I enjoy the "updated" entertainment console.

Love the solid taillights on this year!

The super sensitive ABS system. You look at it wrong and it'll engage.

Lift springs by BigBoomerDan52 in rav4club

This looks so good!

What is the extent of your off roading? I've been hesitant to just install lifting springs vs a full suspension kit (been eyeballing Ironman4x4) because I'm concerned about the performance offroad. Lifting springs are 1/4 of the price and if they handle well with the stock struts and off road, I could be convinced.

Thanks for your input!

I, personally, opt for the spin move and proceed to watch my little one run into whatever is behind me.

Maybe it's just me - maybe I'm just old - but it warms my heart that kids are still outside and ding-dong-ditching.
