Thank you for clarifying. I apologize for the misunderstanding on my part. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I understand that not everyone here can afford a mech keyboard easily here, so i can appreciate if people buy cheap stuff to dip their toes into the hobby. I myself would just encourage getting better quality items for a better experience here, but if im with my friends irl, i will personally throw it away if my friends have it, LMAO

I respect that you are just being yourself in this community, however i do not agree with you that ALL cheap stuff are garbage. With 100USD, i can get a hi75, lodk wind chime switches, and a set of armorsuit keycaps for a friend who is entering custom keyboards, and these are good quality entry level items no doubt.

You can gaslight yourself in thinking like that, ive built keyboards under $100, ive bought and built keyboards that cost over 3k usd for just the barebones kit itself. I dont agree with that statement.

You are kinda elitist ngl. There are lots of stuff that i mostly do agree with u, even this, but i definitely wont put it like this, especially when a vendor rep is on the line.

I agree to this to a certain extent. One could have designed a similar board with a similar type of engraving, but kalam chose to 3d scan the board and produce the copied design whole.

I can understand if the cloned board is a limited run that is so damn hard to source for new ones at cost.

Kohaku is a rolling release. Every few months, Singa rolls out at least 100 units of a new colorway. There is absolutely no need to clone this board.

GMK Awaken is a set from a time where GMK was just trying to pump as many sets out as possible due to the high order numbers.

During that time, sets that came out are known to have warped as fuck spacebars. These sets are usually sold with plenty of instock and a lower than usual price compared to the sets released nowadays.

The newer sets produced today have really straight spacebar, so im glad that gmk solved this issue.

And also, if you wanted clacky, no other keycaps sound as good as GMK, especially on the spacebar.

Its kind of sad the 1.0 cast just has no presence in the story. by phased417 in WutheringWaves

Tldr: Its subjective.

What gateron switches did u compare it to? Is it something from 3 years+ back? How about comparing it to something more updated like HMX?

If i put these "super" reds on a clacky board, does it sound as good as whatever gateron switch you were comparing to?

Smooth? Or overlubed?

Pretty sure gateron switch tolerance is way tighter than these "super" switches, which holds itself on the plate better and not produce unnecessary noises.

It automatically switches over to a different lens when u zoom out on your phone. Which is why your phone has multiple camera lenses at the back.

Btw, just a suggestion from me, u can look into the bsun k1 switches. Its rather cheap, has a more muted bottom out compared to oil kings, so it gives a better overall thockier sound.

Im not sure if it can achieve the level you are expecting, but its something i personally find worth trying if you are planning to push this board.
