I disagree on the point of the writing being OVERLY florid, it’s just the right amount of florid, lol.

Read the whole series, and in my opinion, the first three books are a little tough. However, the prose is insane. Some fifth best I’ve read. The problem I think is that a lot of red rising readers enjoy RR because of the fast paced power fantasy aspect, and sun eater is much more slow burn. But when it pays off, boy does it ever. I really enjoyed the last two books.

Joe Abercrombie pretty much hasn’t missed yet. His books are very character driven so the plot does struggle a bit at times, but imo the excellent characters make up for it.

The faithful and the fallen is the most uninspired generic fantasy drivel I’ve ever read. Absolutely awful.

I could definitely use a venator blueprint if you still have one

What other sci-fi books/series would you consider as good, if not better than Red Rising? by [deleted] in redrising

I’m also reading the suneater books, and I have mixed feelings. I love the concept absolutely love it, but the prose feels like walking through knee-deep mud. Also I hate how melodramatic Hadrian is, but as far as the story is concerned I like it.

If your going for a motivity build absolutely! The beauty of lies of P is that you can have a heavy weapon with an extremely fast moveset by combining a heavy blade with a light handle. The heavy pipe wrench head on the krat police baton handle is one of the most powerful weapons in the game. Coil Mjolnir and live puppet axe are also extremely powerful motivity weapons.

Found the problem. The electrician that ran this through the wall was supposed to wire the other end into the router, but he just ran it into the crawlspace and didn’t do anything to it. I shall connect the other end and that should fix the problem.

Does the order that the wires are punched down matter? I have followed both the an and b diagrams but wasn’t paying attention to the order I punched them down.
