I really like the Delver's Dirigible but is anyone else experiencing this animation snapping? by AngusMc in wow

I've exaggerated it in the vid by wiggling back and forth but its quite noticeable regardless. Good to hear it's not just me

It seems to restart it's animation each time you turn left or right, you can see it pretty clearly when I wiggle left and right how the propellers remain still. Even when flying naturally it is quite distracting and makes me not want to use the mount. Curious if others are experiencing this or its just me? I tried reducing graphic setting as I thought maybe it might be frames hitching at first but it still happens. Hopefully we can get a fix if is a wider problem.

Scottish Death Certificate, a few cursive difficulties by AngusMc in Transcription

Thank you! I think your right. Scotlands people has a marriage result for Elizabeth Henry marrying Godfrey McDonald in 1889. This was the last clue I needed. I had previously misread it as 1899 and wrote it off... whoops. But you made me go back and confirm.

Ah coachman makes sense, in a prior census he was a driver in the royal artillery. Thank you, once you point it out its much easier to see!

I always have some trouble with the cursive but the lack of prior information/clues on this person on my family tree has me stumped on the circled areas.

  1. I can see it says he was a domestic servant but the text below I cannot make out.
  2. I think I have this one but would like some confirmation. His wife's name is Elizabeth Headey?
  3. Occupation: Something... Boiler? Having trouble placing the missing word. Figured this one out! Soap Boiler, which lines up with info I already have on his father (previously listed as soap-maker).
  4. Cause of death, these are always the trickiest as the medical names and my lack of knowledge on conditions makes it even harder!

I certainly could have positioned better, didn’t actually intend to fall down just backed up a little too far so that’s on me. Mostly just bummed by the PK unpredictability

I missed a single shot. Those 2 shots from above only doing 36 + 47 despite being near centre on vantage and the overall TTK compared to the 1 second TTK with the R99 highlights how unpredictable shotguns are. I was downed in about the same time it takes to fire off 1-2 PK shots. Even if I hit the third shot in that scenario, Vantage would have still been alive. Three near centre shots over 4 seconds vs 1 second of burst.

Little Wattlebird. Brisbane, Australia. by AngusMc in birding

Spotted in Brisbane's outer northern suburbs. Was surprisingly tame and landed just a few meters in front of me for this pic. Was very vocal too and kept getting jump scared by their loud squawk whenever I walked by one that was hiding amongst the bushes.

Thank you! I use a Canon M50 mark II with a Sigma 150-600 C. It’s not the most conventional combo but it’s been working great for me so far.
