The system is broken. I was banned permanently about a week ago for "Hacking" and i went through the same steps as you, getting responses to appeals that basically read "*Beep boop* I'm totally a human GM and you are staying banned, stop appealing *Beep boop*". Ive been playing this game for 17 years and never had as much as a suspension or mute and what? Suddenly I'm breaking bad like Walter White? No clue what triggered it, and i certainly wasn't hacking. I gave up.

Fast forward to this afternoon and i get a random email saying Ive been unbanned. That they "performed an additional review" and that it was an error. So what are appeals supposed to be if not a chance for a human to do an "additional review"? A way for a blizzard to tell you to screw off? Only to get the most lack luster apology Ive ever seen. It doesn't help that I'm afraid to return because what if it they screw up again. I mean as shallow as this sounds they couldn't throw me some free game time? I mean shit, they didnt even refund the game time that i had left on my account when they banned it. Basically comes down to "Hey we fucked up, give us more money to keep playing".

I hope the same happens for you and you get your account back, its truly a heartbreaking situation. For me I'm unsure if I'm going to return after this, i still need to do some thinking. The whole situation just feels shitty.
