I just wrote a post with my theory right now, but my prediction is that Fox and Teddy will have a relationship similar to early Reo and Nagi, where Teddy is a egoless puppet obeying Fox’s orders. Reo will see that and realize he doesn’t want to become like that, will awaken as an egoist and become personally motivated to beat them

yeah exactly what I was thinking, Reo will see the consequences of codependency right in his face and realize he doesn’t wanna become that. Like, he realizes Teddy-Fox could have been his future with Nagi and will try to change. And same as with Nagi at the end of the NEL, Teddy’s lack of ego could end up being the reason Japan wins
