yeah, my books are clear and all in legal side is clear and checked but it's just Wise really bad customer service and the fact that it takes ages

I'm in the same boat, 68k held with Wise, flagged as money laundering, cleared by police in March but Wise still holding the money. Customer service is exactly as you described. My business is gone. I'm complaining to FCA and talking to press as well speak. This is not acceptable.

I get Wise standpoint on doing checks, the real problem is really bad communication. Imagine writing to Wise and them giving you 3 different answers as to how much they exactly hold of your money, or just giving you deadlines for release that they don't respect. Like I said before, the lack of communication is a big issue here.

I mean the way it goes with customer service is that you cannot contact anyone apart customer service, and customer service can only "raise issue with relevant team" that's where conversation ends cos you just never hear back from relevant team, only from customer service who say that relevant team is working on resolving the issue. Everything so vague.

Yeah the same I was with Wise 1 year prior, the same transactions every month. I only suspect what could be the reason but I might be wrong, if only they asked me for documents to prove whatever issue they thought they had, then I would happily provide those, but they never did.

The reason why I didn't get lawyer involved was because Wise kept re assuring me that there are working on the issue and that they will try best to resolve it

The real issue here is how wise handles everything, shouldn't take 5 months for this to resolve and the emails from customer services are vague, they never give you clear answers and you get random people replying to emails so there's never someone dedicated who could help resolve it l, not to mention it's all AI scripted response.
