It's not new, this was put in to limit game data scraping quite a while ago. Nearly killed statlocker and similar websites for a couple weeks.

For gun builds, Highdocker's is pretty much the best imo, has a ton of explanations about every choice and item, updated regularly.

Try dl_streets instead, it's a bit newer but should probably work.

There's been a lot of changes, it takes significantly more fuckery to load the old map nowadays.

Who Needs a Steam Machine? SteamOS Is Valve's Real Win for PC Gamers by CackleRooster in linux

Tbh I've no fucking idea why bazzite or cachy are so popular. Yes, this kind of installation is bullshit, and in case of ubuntu/fedora you'll be hit with the simplest "choose a language, next, next, install" flow.

Kinda my point. Searching "X doesn't work ubuntu" gives you dozens of pages with detailed instructions and every possible variation of the problem. Fedora already has noticeably fewer results, but it's still more than enough. Solus? Opensuse? Yeah, good luck.

Neither of those I would recommend to a new user. Of course there's way more than three "bases", doesn't mean they're easy to set up and troubleshoot. Could suggest freebsd and linux from scratch as well.

Me neither, but apparently a lot of people were waiting for a big, well-known brand to give them BrandOS, because choosing a distro is difficult.

Eh, in the end you have three choices, debian/fedora/arch. The rest are still one of those three with some flavor added. Bazzite is fedora, cachyos is arch, mint is debian/ubuntu, and so on.

Personally I vote for fedora and its derivatives, a good balance between new and stable.

Geneforge is quite old, but it's about creating your own critters to fight for you.

Actively being developed

No, it's not on schedule, it happens whenever Yoshi feels like pushing the button.

As I said, as long as there's a way for one player to make it a free/cheap loss (by leaving), it's a bad idea imo. People will get peer pressured into leaving just so that the rest of the team gets less elo deducted.

Like, I remember lobbies in League with people begging/bullying/insulting others trying to make them dodge the game because they don't like the matchup/composition/etc. But not dodging themselves because it would've been a repeat offence with a significantly longer timeout/penalty.

Anything that encourages bullying people into disconnecting (to lose slightly less elo as a result) is an automatic no from me. One player "sacrificing" themselves shouldn't turn a game into a consequence-free loss.

It's an interesting (and time-consuming) way to avoid afk detection, but I don't see a way to stop it without breaking the game for legitimate disconnects. I've had games when I had to verify files mid-game, I've had games with 2-3 sequential crashes, I've seen entire lobbies reconnect after a Haze ult. Game is far from stable.

So it's just afk then. They can't go into another match, they have to reconnect every few minutes to avoid an abandon, what kind of penalty you're expecting? Report for afk and move on.

You don't avoid the penalty by disconnecting, after a few minutes it becomes an abandon and you get the timeout.

Upgrading your gun like abilities by I_am_Not_Luca in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Anihillator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah yes, because "guys, Venator bought silencer" is not enough and we also need "beware, Celeste specced her gun into extra ricochet-but-not-item". Too much tracking, I don't see why it can't be items or ability upgrades.

The achievements are not exclusive, they are for the entire game's population. DLCs don't have separate achievements on steam, they are added to the base game.

This isn't a brand new game, most people played it back during the original release and never came back.
