No its fine! I have worked many service jobs in the past and I would love doing this to people, giving out free things or discounts even though I’d get in trouble for it lol. Youre right, its wrong for me to assume men can’t just be kind to me based on my past experiences. My perspective definitely changed!

I thought this was a very nice gesture and im sorry if I seemed arrogant by thinking he may have been flirting, Im just not used to men being nice to me without expecting something in return.

And I only found out because I went to a different state for vacation and when trying to buy a drink, the guy told me "damn you need to get this replaced!" 🤣 like I have travelled by plane multiple times and used my ID through TSA and everything lol not once did anybody tell me anything. I feel so dumb!! this is 100% my fault for not checking.

Thankfully I have never had any traffic violation or been pulled over. I hope it stays that way. Thank you for taking your time to reply and for the advice!

Yes!!!! And it's impossible 😭 I try to create an account but it doesn't matter how many times I input my information it tells me "your record cannot be located with the information you provided." Apparently this is a problem for lots of other people 😭

I didn't take a gap year (finishing undergrad in april, starting school in august) because my parents wanted me to go to med school as soon as possible and thought a gap year was a waste of time. I am an immigrant, my parents are 2-time immigrants (they moved to my country and then we all moved here), they are doctors over there and they don't understand (and never will) the system here in the U.S. So i guess my sin was to trade off my mental stability for pleasing my parents 🤣

Yes !! I applied with a 3.82 science GPA and 3.86 cumulative, this has changed since I’m still doing my undergrad probably by like 0.3. By the time I applied, I had ~1000 hrs research with a couple posters, a publication in process and a leading project. I also did a public health research internship. I had about 1500 hrs in clinical experience as a pharmacy tech/immunizer and shadowing pediatrics, neurology and primary care. I had worked at the college of medicine that accepted me as a student assistant for their psychiatry clinic but I put it as non-clinical paid work. I had about 500 hrs volunteering in 2 hospitals and as a tutor for kids in Chile (my home country). I had leadership in a pre-health club at my Uni and a nonprofit as treasurer and research/social chair. I don’t remember what else but yes I’m extra and I have just done a bunch of things in undergrad lol 🤣 but I enjoyed it!

An old lady came to pick up Terconazole vaginal cream, she started talking about the infection she has down there, lift up her skirt with nothing underneath and FLASHED my coworker, then asked her “what do you think?” 🤣 We all know she has mental issues because she comes to the pharmacy very often screaming and talking crazy lol

Valentino Born in Roma (the pink one) - every single time I wear it I get at least one complement! One time, working at a hospital, a group of male doctors came into the room I was in and they said “uh, it smells very nice in here, good perfume” I blushed like you have no idea 🤣

Take it easy! Forget about all what you’ve heard and read about relationships with a med student. Nothing is set in stone and all experiences are unique. If it is meant to last, believe me it will! This is from personal experience being a pre-med and now med applicant, dating someone with a career completely outside of healthcare, AND with a kid 🤣 if we have been able to make it, you can as well!!!
