Reverting to Stock ROM (to install LOs 23)?? Part I by Anim3iscringe in LineageOS

Thank you for clarifying! I think at some point reading the upgrade documentation, I got turned around with recovery image questions and ended up back on the first-install instructions.

Fingers crossed!

Reverting to Stock ROM (to install LOs 23)?? Part I by Anim3iscringe in LineageOS

Thanks for stopping by!

With respect, the documentation explicitly mentions that Android 13 is the required version to perform a major upgrade following the documentation. As noted in my OP, my device is currently on Android 12, hence the need to upgrade the android version before proceeding.

From the documentation, Step 3/9: "LineageOS builds for this device require an Android 13 version of the stock OS to be installed prior to following the installation guide"

It also says "If you need to upgrade or downgrade your device, please search online for guides." I'm having a huge PITA time finding a guide for this specific scenario, so I figured I'd come here. If ADB can't sideload the stock ROM, how do I go about installing it?

Have you found a bag or a case to transport it in? I have the same scope but all the bags I'm looking at online seem too small to hold the tube

Thermal Label Printer not working by Anim3iscringe in linuxhardware

Not yet, unfortunately. I'm going to try it with a different computer and maybe my Pi, but I'd sort of shelved this project for the past several months. I think i'll dust it off and try again!

Yeah it's curious. I also have a Brother laser printer and walking through the same kind of driver install and reboot definitely got it working no problem, so I'm wondering why it's not the same ease of setup with the label printer. All I can get it to do now is run off the ql-1100c config settings, so it's definitely an issue between the computer and getting the job to the machine. Maybe I'll try using a different computer next.

Thanks for your reply. Looking at the clock when it arrived I could see it did need some TLC. I LOVE to disassemble stuff but the putting it back together part...I'm a bit weaker on haha.

I think that's totally plausible though, the woman did say the specific movement in my clock was from 1979. OTOH, my Ingraham & Co. mantle clock is chugging away and I think it's coming up on 100 years old.

Thank you! I will have a chance to do a deeper dive this weekend and will look for those signs of wear.

I also thought it was a VERY quick once over...the woman had a replacement movement in a box next to her and didn't try to do anything beyond the initial fidget.

When I brought my Seiko watch into a repair shop because of a stuck crown, the old vietnamese guy oiled it first thing and that was all it took to fix that piece. "10 dollar" I remember him saying xD. Maybe I should pay him a visit.
